Ceramic, 1968-1975
I studied ceramics at UC Berkley under Peter Voulkos and James Melchert. I was always inspired by their creative approach to art.
I never thought of clay as an end, but a means to an end. These pieces represent just a few of the directions I became involved in. I experimented with the use of various other materials, such as leather, flocking, and paint, and their relationship with clay.
